One of today's truly exceptional artists, Richard Goode gave recitals this Summer at festivals in Aldeburgh, Edinburgh, Klavierfest am Ruhr and Toulouse’s Piano aux Jacobins, playing concertos also at the BBC Proms (BBC Symphony/ Belohlavek), Schleswig-Holstein and Edinburgh Festivals (Budapest Festival Orchestra / Fischer) -“subtly inflected lines that struck a perfect balance between Classical form and Romantic subjectivity.” (Times)
A busy European season awaits Goode, including recitals in London’s Queen Elizabeth Hall, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, Bad Kissingen, Warsaw, Perugia, Milan and Venice, Mozart K 595 with the Vienna Symphony / Metzmacher and a UK tour with the Budapest Festival Orchestra / Fischer including London’s Barbican Centre (Beethoven 3). U.S. appearances include the San Francisco Symphony and Cleveland Orchestra, and recitals in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago and Los Angeles, among others.
