Our touring is driven first and foremost by creativity.
As a department we spend a great deal of time listening to the needs of promoters and festivals, and matching these to the creative ideas of our artists and of the orchestras we work with.

Intermusica believes that touring is a collaborative affair.

Sharing the hopes and visions of all we deal with is the key to our philosophy. We strive to balance the needs of both orchestra and promoter. In today’s competitive environment these wishes are sometimes influenced adversely by economic reality, but we seek to find new solutions to these problems on a day to day basis. Establishing realistic expectation levels on both sides is central to delivering successful projects.

The touring department knows no geographical bounds.
Our orchestras have had a strong presence in Japan and the Far East for some years now, North America is represented, and projects and tours in Europe are there in equal measure. We also bring orchestras to the UK, either for tours or for special projects in London where Intermusica works in partnership with both the Barbican Centre and the Royal Festival Hall. In the summer months we also work regularly with the BBC Proms and Edinburgh Festival to name but two. There are currently over fifty projects planned or in development over the next two years.
